97-98 Bulls Documentary (The Last Dance)

Rodman is a kill. When he hit that shot and turned around and played to the crowd. I also think he played harder after missing practice just to shove it to the media and all the sports talk people.

Yeah and he was one that I don't recall ever not playing hard in general.

I call BS on the food poisoning "story."

I agree. I just can't bring myself to believe that Michael Jordan and his millions of dollars and multiple personnel people solely on his payroll could only find ****** pizza and ate the entire pizza on the eve of a Finals game. There's just no way.

Did they say last night that right after the prior game that he had been given the script and money offer?

That's just crazy.

For the record I would skip a day of work for that kind of offer.
Don't think they did.

They're talking on the DP Show right now like they've never heard of the food poisoning story. I thought this was common knowledge, wasn't it? I mean, these guys seemingly had no idea.

Everybody at the time, and for the last 22 years thought it was a stomach virus. The "Flu" game. Don't see what difference it makes other than he wasn't contagious. Food poisoning doesn't feel any different than a nasty stomach bug.

I think the source of the food poisoning surprised some.

Salt Lake City. I believe it.

Salt Lake City. I believe it.

It sounds like they were in Park City, which I suppose I could see nothing else being open. But I guess I just struggle to believe it would even get to that. I would think if Michael Jordan wants a good meal at 10:30 at night, he gets it. Especially the night before a Finals game.

I also don't understand the 5 guys showing up thing. If you were intentionally trying to make him sick, which seems to be the implication, why would 5 people show up?

The food poisoning thing has been around for many years. Jordan and his team stated years and years ago that it was food poisoning. If I can recall correctly, I thought the people who made the pizza came clean and said they purposely sabotaged the pizza with rotten food? I could have sworn I read that a few years ago.

I don't think eating pizza is that surprising.

They're probably right and I'm sure I'm just thinking too much into this. I guess I just struggle to believe that was the only food they could find and that he'd eat it with others supposedly expressing their "bad feeling" about it. Just seems odd to me.

A quick Google search and I don't see anything about that. I'm sure that story would be making its rounds again today, if true

I doubt anyone intentionally poisoned the pizza. It was probably just someone handling it that hadn't washed their hands after going to the bathroom. The multiple people showed up because it was MJ and they wanted to deliver a pizza to him
Also, having been to Park City in the 90's I am not surprised they couldn't find anything else open. Ithas developed a ton since then. It was just kind of starting to become something back then. Plus it is Utah

I'm back to the 5 people thing. Do you think when they called they said "it's for Michael Jordan". They wouldn't just send someone to pick it up? I don't know, the whole thing just seems really weird to me.

Why make up a story that makes no material difference? Flu or food poisoning, either way he was sick.
