***Resident Evil 3 Mafia Thread***

I've been thinking about this for a while. Let's say Vikes is mafia. He knows that if Cubs passes him the doll, it will be discovered that he's dirty at some point. If he was mafia, I would imagine that he would claim to have gotten the doll today and come up with somebody else to pass the doll to. Fitzy? KC? Doesn't matter. He eventually would be found out.

Instead, he's actively proclaiming that he didn't get it. This doesn't seem like something mafia/zombie would do, when he could have simply not requested the doll in the first place.

I'm leaning innocent here at the moment.
 
Just because I’ll never fully trust Fitzy, does the timeline match up that there’s a chance he could’ve been infected the night he passed the doll back to cubs? Mafia killed last night (over weekend) while cubs passed it to ____, zombies infected two nights ago while Fitzy was passing it to cubs I believe.

That would not work because I don't believe mafia members are told they are passed the doll, I think? So if Vikes claimed he got the doll, but another innocent actually got the doll, then that would be a huge risk compared to claiming he didn't get the doll.

Claiming that he got the doll when who knows where cubs actually sent it to is dangerous. If cubs was alive and hinted that vikes got it I could see claiming it, but with cubs dead there’s not a ton of incentive for vikes to lie since cubs is dead and can’t say that he sent it to him. Until someone says they got the doll, I think vikes or KC has to be the play today

No. Thursday night's infection resulted in CyArob (mafia) dying.
 
I trust @CycloneNorth knows something. But here's something to consider... The OG zombie can kill mafia. If we go to a "Mafia kills every night" after the OG zombie dies (as @CoKane just mentioned above), then it gives the mafia all the power.

What I'm trying to say is, maybe it would be best to leave SCNCY alive for one (or multiple) days in the event he tries to infect someone tonight that ends up being mafia and gets killed in the process.

Reading cokane’s post I thought it was mafia kill every night once all the zombies are voted out, not just the OG. I think if we have a “confirmed” bad guy it’s better to vote him out sooner than later. rescind vikes vote SCN
 
Additionally, why waste a day lynch on the OG zombie when there's a role in the game that can specifically take out the OG zombie overnight, if targeted?

I think we need @CoKane to confirm this. He just said the infection stops after the OG is killed, so there'd be no more infection nights even with zombies still alive.

Counterpoint - let's say SCNCY infects you. Then, we're thinking you're one of the good guys, when in reality, you're not.

No telling who the doctor will protect tonight, since they obviously didn't want to protect Cubs last night.

The infection stops, yes, but we don’t go to mafia killing every night until all zombies are killed, is the way I read his post
 
Let's stick with the KC or Vikes lynch today.
Jill could take out discy to see if North's info is good.

Focus on finding mafia since there's more of them.

I'm still leaning Vikes so I won't pile on KC

So why DIDN'T the doctor protect Cubs last night? It seems like it would have been a no-brainer.

Yeah, that's a fair counterpoint. Just trying to run through the scenarios here.

If we decide the OG needs to die, it still makes the most sense to have Carlos target him overnight, IMO.
