White had visits scheduled to ISU 3 different times I believe but never ended up coming each time. IIRC it seemed like it was finally going to happen on the last one but then he committed elsewhere and it was over. He never visited Iowa St.according to 247 the only other visit besides Arizona St that Romello White took was to ISU. I’d imagine if we go after him that would help us out a lot
How is he not the best fit exactly?Any chance we’d be able to land the Rice transfer that decommitted from Minnesota? Not the best fit, but if we can’t find a pg, adding A 6’8” G/F that can shoot would help make a novice pg’s job easier imo.
He would serve as a great walk on.It will be interesting to see if Ozier commits, and how long it takes Iowa State to announce, or him sign somewhere else.
Those were my four years as a student. I don’t want to see the program fall that far again.[/QUOTE]
Well if you have that much control over the situation call Jamie and write a REALLY big check.
Nobody is happy with a 12 win seasons. But instead of being negative and taking a sky is falling approach, some people choose to be optimistic about next season. It's only fair to the players to give them the benefit of the doubt and support them and the coaching staff.
There are a lot of things in life to go on a rant about, sports isn't one of them.
Hoiberg was the exception, after year 1 the Clones played at a high level. You can't say that about Johnny or Larry. They both had success followed by down years.
Would be absolutely shocked if we ended up with any of those 3Salnave, Brown, Perez. Let’s finish strong!
So you’re saying there’s a chance!Would be absolutely shocked if we ended up with any of those 3
Agree. Perez and Salnave interest has been overblown. Sounds like Brown is headed to Illinois.Would be absolutely shocked if we ended up with any of those 3
Why would we not be interested?Agree. Perez and Salnave interest has been overblown. Sounds like Brown is headed to Illinois.
ISU not in Ray Salnave's top 3.
@jakeweingarten Monmouth graduate transfer Ray Salnave is down to three finalists, he told @Stockrisers: DePaul, St. John’s and LMU.
Averaged 14.5 points per game on 40% shooting last season.
Guys we have could likely put up similar numbers at those levels? Why would we not be interested?
