Any chance we’d be able to land the Rice transfer that decommitted from Minnesota? Not the best fit, but if we can’t find a pg, adding A 6’8” G/F that can shoot would help make a novice pg’s job easier imo.

according to 247 the only other visit besides Arizona St that Romello White took was to ISU. I’d imagine if we go after him that would help us out a lot
White had visits scheduled to ISU 3 different times I believe but never ended up coming each time. IIRC it seemed like it was finally going to happen on the last one but then he committed elsewhere and it was over. He never visited Iowa St.

How is he not the best fit exactly?

It will be interesting to see if Ozier commits, and how long it takes Iowa State to announce, or him sign somewhere else.

We all complain about Prohm because we saw a team that was out of sync most of the season. Tyrese being healthy would have helped, but we were far from an NCAA Qualifier with him. I just want a team that plays hard together and gives us a chance to do some damage in the Tournament.

“After one season with the Michigan basketball team, freshman wing Cole Bajema is set to transfer, entering the Transfer Portal The former four-star 2019 recruit — ranked 74th nationally in 247Sports' rankings — is a Lynden, Washington native, but has family from the west side of Michigan and grew up rooting for the Wolverines. He initially committed to Michigan over Washington, Virginia, Oregon State and others”

Those were my four years as a student. I don’t want to see the program fall that far again.[/QUOTE]

Well if you have that much control over the situation call Jamie and write a REALLY big check.

Nobody is happy with a 12 win seasons. But instead of being negative and taking a sky is falling approach, some people choose to be optimistic about next season. It's only fair to the players to give them the benefit of the doubt and support them and the coaching staff.

There are a lot of things in life to go on a rant about, sports isn't one of them.

Hoiberg was the exception, after year 1 the Clones played at a high level. You can't say that about Johnny or Larry. They both had success followed by down years.

ISU not in Ray Salnave's top 3.

@jakeweingarten Monmouth graduate transfer Ray Salnave is down to three finalists, he told @Stockrisers: DePaul, St. John’s and LMU.

Averaged 14.5 points per game on 40% shooting last season.
