With more things being cancelled and it being highly unlikely that Airventure will happen I am trying to figure out something to do as a family getaway. Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan are thoughts that I have had.

Sorta wondering what's up/happened to neighbor guy this morning after ambulance took him away last night. 30-something who lives alone in this yuge contemporary house designed/built by my old architect buddy. He's been next door ten years and I've never seen anyone over there other than a couple short-term girlfriends. No family or friends over, ever, just peeps working on the house from time to time.

We were hoping when the weather got better to go to some of the state parks that were open only for self-contained RVs & trailers (ie, those with plumbing), but that hope was shot down a week or so ago when they closed the parks completely to overnight stays. We went out geocaching a couple of times this week, and that got us out of the house. Your kids are probably a bit to young for that, though.

I got nothing cause I'm a hermit and never go anywhere, even more so now than before.

The only "travel" plans I have for the summer now are to get over to the WWII museum in Granite Falls. Maybe a roadtrip this fall to Mt. Rushmore. Half-ass plans for an ISUAA or Viking Euro trip vanished like.......

Well, poop, more bad excitement in the hood. Was talking in front yard with neighbor couple walking their dog. We were filling each other in on the other neighbor getting ambulanced away last night. About done chatting, me in pajamas and like 10 feet away, when their dog pulled on the leash and caught Z off balance and she went over face first into the street. Her bootlaces got tangled at the same moment dog pulled, kind of a crazy bad perfect storm. It was a bad face plant. Ran in to get some paper towels that doc husband held to her bleeding face. I took the dog and we walked her back home. Hope she's okay. Man, am I glad hubby was with her this afternoon. Damn, just too much not fun stuff happening here right now. :(

Some idiot set up a 6:30 meeting tomorrow that I am expected to attend. I'm pretty sure this will be a complete waste of time.

House down the road is having a get together with at least 16 people
People across the way from us had a party on Sunday afternoon. They all sat in lawn chairs about 6-8 feet apart. Problem is, the kids were all playing together on the jungle gym, and they were all serving themselves from the same table. Social distancing fail.
