GT PG correct? Take the best one we can get. Gives Walker a year to develop and compete with hopefully a 2021 stud.

As long as we can get a PG I'm not all that worried about a wing look at it more as a bonus.

FWIW. Junior season highlights. Assess as you wish.

Can’t tell much from a two minute video but he looks to be crafty and a capable shooter. Maybe not super quick or talented, but he might be a nice complement to Bolton. His assist to turnover ratio isn’t great and I don’t know if he can play defense.

Getting Bolton to the 2 and having Jackson available to come off the bench makes us better.

Just need a capable ball handler to keep turnovers down. Then we can focus on development, however that will be interesting with the Covid situation.

Who plays the 3 then? I still don't see Condit and Young playing together much. Neither can shoot to stretch the defense. So unless one of these freshmen come in ready to play, we're looking at needing to bring in a PG just to play the 4 guard lineup we've become accustomed to seeing.

1 - Flowers /Walker? / ?
2 - Jackson / Blackwell?
3 - Bolton / Dubar?
4 - Johnson / Foster?
5 - Young / Condit

So I guess we can at least fill out a roster. Going to need to get meaningful minutes out of 2 freshmen, maybe 3 if we can't get at least 1 grad transfer.

3. Johnson or one of the freshmen
4. Johnson or one of the freshmen

Absolutely I'd like to see another wing but not getting a PG kills any chance we have.

Best we can get? At this point I am almost hoping we can grab the best PG in the intramural league.

With Johnson, Blackwell, and Dubar, the 3 and 4 spots may be more interchangeable, which is a great thing.

If Walker is good, but not ready to be pg, maybe he plays some third guard/wing/3.

I don't understand why he wouldn't be a take at this point

I believe the one thing that can't be disputed about Prohm is his ability to develop PGs. Guessing he looks for a particular mindset that's what makes someone a take in my humble opinion.

I’d agree... unless the staff has another player(s) they feel confident in for the scholly... I could also see it complicating the Ed Ellis recruitment for 2021.

with the changes in eligibility rules, can we get Ellis reclassify to 2020?
