They don’t lose much and they will plug in Fix and Brock at 133 and 141.
If all of our guys that should start get in the lineup and Fix goes 125 then we should be favored at 133, 141, 157, 174 and 285. We would also have decent shot at 149 and 184, with a healthier Degen. If by chance Fix goes 133 then we will be heavy favorites at 125 and Gomez has had a couple real close matches with Fix throughout their careers.

Don’t think I’d favor ISU over Brock at either 33 or 41, but definitely winnable.

I think he can and I hope it all turns out as planned but I still have reservations about Gomez getting back down that far and if he does what kind of Gomez we will see. At minimum, I would anticipate a few clunker matches while he gets his bearings.

I’d put Brock as the favorite. 2x AA vs a 0 time AA. But do agree it’d be close. Probably more of a tossup than anything.

Fix is huge at 133 so not going 125. He dismantles Small. You’re far more optimistic about those weights than I. We will see—that’s why the wrestle the matches.

I agree. To be fair, Demas would have been a two time AA and Parker's won that match twice.

Not exactly true. Fix makes 57kg in freestyle with no issue and rumors were only reason he went 133 last year was lineup related with Picc at 125. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see Fix at 125 next year since Ok State has a hole there and he’ll be looking to make the Olympic team at essentially the same weight.

Making 57 kg every few months with freestyle weigh in rules vs 1-2 times weekly for 4 months isn’t the same thing. He will be at 133.

Especially with the Olympics next year, Fix would not be wrestling in very many meets for OSU. He’d be on a Snyder like schedule.
