WBB: Aston out at Texas

Bunch of injuries too...makes you wonder if her conditioning program was causing issues. It's going to be hard for them to find anyone up to the Baylor challenge.

I agree with the Baylor challenge ...I see Kim Mulkey is going into the Basketball Hall of Fame according to espn...Her career record is like 602 wins and 100 Losses.....With 3 Natl Titles...This woman can flat recruit and coach, what a lethal combination in a woman.....

It was more than just record - she had three McDonald's All Americans in her 2017 class that transferred before their junior season. Her 2017-2018 team had 10 McDonald's All Americans and started the season ranked # 2, they lost in the Sweet 16. Their star recruit in 2018 left the program because she felt unsafe with the medical staff.

Initial thoughts are Kelly Graves at Oregon or Vic Schaefer at Mississippi State. Oregon loses three All Americans, however Mississippi State is loaded heading into 20-21.
Good call.

I love how fans say so and so won't leave or why would you want the Texas job?

Because you get paid a ton, have a big budget, facilities, nice place to live/weather, lot of local recruits and can recruit national if you want to. Also coaches don't really give a damn about the recent past lack of success they ALWAYS think they will be the ones to fix it especially if they have the resources listed earlier.
