Iowa State 2020 Oddsmaker Win Total Released

Big 10 West strikes again. Look at this laughable schedule for Nebraska.
I'd still take under 8 wins. 7-4 looks about right. 8 wins max if they were to beat Northwestern.

vs Purdue (W)
vs Central Michigan(W)
vs SDSU(W)
vs Cincinnati(W)
at Northwesten (L)
vs Illinois (W)
at Rutgers (W)
at Ohio State (L)
vs Penn State (L)
at Iowa (L)
at Wisconsin (L)
vs Minnesota (W)

I saw a good graphic on twitter last week. It plotted strength of schedule vs returning talent. Now I can't find it anywhere.
Anyone else happen to see that?

One of the teams that stood out was Michigan. High schedule strength and low returning talent.
I'll jump all over under 9 wins.

I wouldn't give them the Purdue, Cinci or Minnesota wins. I don't think they make a bowl game again.

I give toss ups to the home team. Gives me a good baseline for "max" wins.

I agree. Purdue, Cincy, Northwestern, Illinois, Minny all toss up games.
No way they win them all. Could easily go 2-3 or 1-4

That makes sense. I wonder how long they will give Frost since he is their golden boy?

Might get flamed but I wouldn’t call it laughable. I’d say medium. They have teams that are downright terrible, and then they have a couple teams that are consistently top 15. Wisconsin is usually a sneaky team, and Iowa is a decent team. I bet Nebby goes 7-5 or 6-6.

It's back loaded for sure.
I guess as I was typing it out I saw 5 of first 6 at home.
Rutgers on the road as a cross over game.
I didn't give Cincy enough credit. That's a solid non-con.

The funniest outcome would be to see them start 7-0, then finish 0-5 haha

I think their last 5 are losses. They'll be 5-7.

I'm not sure why anyone has any confidence in that NU coaching staff. Sure they did well at UCF but they had a great QB and they won games 59 - 56 or 54 - 48. Now they have a less potent offense and still not good at defense. Of course they have better players at NU than they had at UCF on defense, so they are better, but I'd say still not good. South Alabama scored 21. Colorado 34. Illinois 38. Ohio State 48. Minnesota 34. Indiana 38. Purdue 31. WIsconsin 37 (with 320 yards of rushing).

Just my armchair opinion, but I think they will be lucky just to make a bowl game. If I were Frost, I would be begging for the season to be canceled. Playing the 2020 season offers him very little chance of improving his image with the fans.
