It’s remarkable how much better of a match up UNI is for than Okie st. Some of those swing matches are going to be tight and one goes UNIs way and things are gonna get dicey in a hurry.

I got to believe that Jarrett finally gets this win! Its all between the ears at this point. Unfortunately, with him being dinged up, who knows. Max hasn't wrestled great this season. ISU really needs this dual.

Correct. He had a little offense but it was too late. Was at the west gym for that one. Sadly it was foreshadowing the rest of that dual. I would really like to return the favor this year to those guys. Mackall and Gremmel haven’t lost to either of those two since that night I believe.

Actually, a person would have to be extremely surprised if Colbray beats Steiert. I hope he doesn't get embarrassed.

Steiret is UNI’s best wrestler. He has been consistent all year. It would be huge if Colbray could win this match. Really hope Carr can go. This is a big dual for instate recruitment and bragging rights.

Never know what will happen with Schwarm.
Isley & Gremmel is always close
Skudlarczyk can wrestle a good match. (He beat Witcraft and Madigral and Lovett)
Blockhus is solid, but should be now match for Parker.
Stotts beat Geerts in the December matchup 3-2
Straw needs to kep rolling and beat Yant
I think Shapiro puts it to Glazer

149 - Thomsen by dec. just always too positionally solid for Degen. 9-3 ISU

165 - Straw by dec. no way I’d pick Straw to get bonus here. 12-6 ISU.
174 - Steiert by Major. He’s looked awesome this year. Haven’t seen anything from Colbray that makes me think he’s turned it around enough to be competitive. Think Steiert will wear him out and break him from top. 12-10 ISU.
184 - Lujan by dec. Coleman has kept to a decision with him before, but Lujan has looked great this year. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a major. 13-12 UNI
197 - Shapiro by dec.
285 - Gremmel by dec.

I think ISU should win this dual, but UNI is such a scrappy team. There are some toss up matches (25, 33, 285) that would be huge swings in the dual. 25 particularly scares me because it should be a win for ISU, but could turn to bonus for UNI.

The only way I feel good about winning the dual is if we go 5-1 in the matches from 125 to 165.

Looking at how the team has been wrestling the last couple of duals, I'm optimistic.

I'm hoping for a nice Hilton moment for Stotts, ala Mulder/Schumacher last season.
Colbray has looked solid positionally, I think he keeps it to a decision. If he can get to his offense, Colbray could even get the upset.
I'm hoping they start at 125. I'm thinking HWT could get heated and entertaining with Gremmel and Isley.

If our guys can all push the action for 7 min. We've got it.
Give UNI an inch and we could be toast.

Man, before looking at the match ups, I would have favored UNI. There are quite a few toss ups. I think 133 could go either way. 149, 157, 285 as well. ISU matches up very well with UNI. If the team brings it like they did against OU, I see ISU winning going away here, establishing as #2 program in the state.
