Rooting for parvati, Rob (won't make it to the merge), and sarah.

Rooting against Sophie and Sandra. I like sandra, don't really like her strategy.

Rob's path is to get with people who are using him as a meat shield. As long as he stays around he's a bigger threat. He also could get lucky and get on tribes early that win immunity challenges.

So, we did our schoolyard pick last night. I won the toss, so my choices are in bold. Top five for each of us...
Yul
Amber
Ben
Sandra
Parvati
Rob
Sophie
Wendell
Sarah
Tyson

He got stuck at the end with Natalie, the one neither of us wanted. :D

She ans Michelle winning were two reasons Survivor made changes to prevent those types of wins.

Tho Natalie has a hell of a story. Lost her sister week 1 then battled all the way to win.

Some premier interviews from RHAP.

Biggest takeaway I noticed is that Rob and Sandra were approached by Jeff near the end of filming season 39. Sandra was a yes, and Rob was a no. Rober later agreed when Jeff called and explained what season 40 was. Rob and Sandra never discussed and went their separate ways. So to me this dispels the myth that those two have prior arrangements/alliances formed coming into the game.

So I'm playing volleyball tonight from 8-10. The dilemma is whether I should watch before and after, wait to watch all of it after and be dead tomorrow, or watch it all tomorrow?

Initial thoughts:

-Adam had quite a turnaround from being a target to helping shift the tide to the Natalie/Jeremy duo.

-Rob's social game...my god so fun to watch

-Ben had really good confessionals.

-None of these players hate each other so it's fun that it's all game. I find myself being bummed that anyone gets voted out because they're all great.

-Wish Amber had more of a chance.

-Don't necessarily hate fire currency yet. Interested to see how it's used.

Ben needs to man up quick and stop being such a fanboy. Embarrassing.

I quickly remember why I disliked Parvati so much.

Denise dodged a major bullet. She'd better do something to move herself from "outside looking in" status.

I actually found Parvati endearing this time around. Was never a fan of her early on.

In her first two seasons I despised Parvati....AND the guys (James, I'm looking at you) who were dumb enough to fall for her schtick. I held my nose when I picked her for my team.

She was not constantly talking through her grin last night (a trait in people that I find annoying irl as well); nor was she the blatant flirt from previous games. Maybe she's grown up a bit.

Or maybe she just fooled me on episode one...

And yes - Adam made a pretty slick move last night, and Amber got kinda screwed.

Can "the Queen" thing just die already???
