I totally should have watched the 30 for 30 this morning. Would have been an excellent primer for this.
Yeah, if you are placing wagers on XFL opening day it is probably time to get some help.
I will say, first impressions is this has a completely different energy than AAF ever did, and it feels a lot more legitimate than XFL 1.0 ever did.
So everyone on here needs to adopt a team so we can all start some massive **** talking
I always got the feeling that the AAF was trying to be a minor league system whereas the XFL it's trying to be an entertainment product
My wife just said she's waiting for "Vince McMahon to go all 'Vince McMahon' all over this." I don't think he's going to, though - I think he views 1.0 as a legitimate failure and he desperately needs for this to succeed.
Does anybody know where any ex-Cyclones are playing? I thought I saw Campos was going to be on a squad.
Campos is in St Louis, EJ Bibbs is with New York, I think.
Defining pop culture moment of my college years at ISU. Me and my five roommates were definitely gathered around with extreme enthusiasm. I'll never forget his voice, I instantly thought it was hilarious and could not take the whole thing seriously as I watched.

I wish there were more non-NFL cities.
I feel like I could get pumped to be a Portland or Columbus or Omaha fan easier than LA. Trust me that most in LA don't even realize they have two NFL teams.
