I have a friend whose kid is a child actor. Been on several shows and does a lot of voiceover work. I don't understand why parents want their kids to be stars so bad. Seems like 75 percent of the time it ends up bad.

My daughter had a stage where she was really into this JoJo Siwa young lady. I'm just waiting for her inevitable fall from grace.

I think one of the biggest problems for child actors is they and their parents think it will just continue. Then when many grow up and are no longer cute they don't get any roles.

For young men they go through a phase where they are too old to play teenagers anymore but don't look old enough to get roles as men. Very few can transition seamlessly through that like Johnny Depp and Leonardo DeCaprio did.

JoJo has a pretty good family support system around her so hopefully that saves her.
