I disagree, he had just called a timeout recently, so it felt unnecessary, especially considering that was basically a lucky 3, you aren't gonna defend that shot out there, if Baylor wants to take it you let them. So.. dunno what strategy you're trying to implement after that.
But also, there's little point anyway cause they aren't getting back into it, so just let the clock run.
I'll tell you that it's completely unusual for us to get blown out by teams regularly. Why do you think that is the case?

Letting the bad shooting affect the defense now. At least the first half the focus and effort on defense maintained despite shots not falling. Not the case now.
Because other teams have better players than ISU.
