I didn't see a blow out coming at all but I did bet ISU -3.5. I had a lot more on the under 150.5 and boy did that get exciting towards the end
I love Lon, but Prohm has a really good record against him. I think maybe 7-2?
ISU by 20. This team has talent, just not chemistry. IMO
This is wishful thinking as I will be attending my first game at Hilton since I graduated over 30 years ago. I believe we had 2 undefeated home seasons when I was a student under Johnny. I am not used to seeing us lose in person so maybe I can change the trajectory of the season today!
What a fun game for you to be back for. It wasn't the best crowd ever, but was pretty great considering the circumstances.
Curious what has kept you away for 30 years? Also, you need to get to more games this year! Clearly you were the key.
And this is why I never bet on ISU sports. Emotions get in the way too often.
I covered it. I now own your home ( mortgaged ), your car ( lien ) and your season tickets that are in section 231 last row. Giving your tickets to some true Iowa State fans. Rent on home is due the 1st and you can keep your car because I heard it was bought in Oklahoma.
Lived 6+hours away, but this past year I moved to where I am about 2 hours away. Drive time and winter season do not make basketball games very practical. I had a great time at the game but miss a lot of the fun things that used to be part of the game experience. Several people around me spent more time looking at their phones than watching the actual game. Baffling.
But the line usually makes sense and is logical. It's actually uncanny how close many lines and game results are (especially in football). Last night was an anomaly.
Was this also the first entertainment-oriented thing you had done in 30 years?
Kidding but really it's rare for people to be present at most things.
