Latest rumor is that Pedro Pascal is being considered to play Moon Knight. While he was great in The Mandalorian for what the role is, I still feel like I don't know too much about the guy to have much of an opinion either way, beings how you mostly don't see the guys face for the entire series. I thought his voice acting in the role was stellar if that means anything. I personally haven't seen him in much outside The Mandalorian. I guess I really liked him in Kingsman 2. Almost forgot about that one.

They should just let him do the voiceover to free his schedule.

And he was great in Narcos.

Exactly. Lots of people dropping now that the Mandalorian is done. Not much new content on there now.

90s X-Men cartoon series is the best thing in the marvel section that most people haven't seen. The visuals wont impress 25 years later but the stories are often taken exactly from the comics and a few of the voice actors give the definitive voice of the characters at least for me, the same people voiced the Capcom video games.

I agree, especially for characters such as Gambit, Rogue, Storm and Wolverine

I'm sure part of why Jackman's Wolverine was so perfect for me and maybe others was that he played it in such a similar way and sounded similar.

I've been watching them while I run on treadmill and even though I've seen most of them 2-3 times I still like it all these years later. Just saw the Mojoverse episode with long shot. Think it's one of the better stories that hasn't been a movie, Thor Ragnarok had a similar feel though.

Christian Bale is reportedly in talks to officially join the Marvel side of the equation with a role in Thor: Love and Thunder. Honestly, I have no clue who he could be. Maybe Beta Ray Bill?? I kind of hope not.

That would be right up Taika Waititi's alley, although I don't know if Chrisitian Bale would get the humor in it. I don't think there is a villain lined up for the film yet, so maybe that's what they are looking for - similar casting to when Cate Blanchett was hired to play Hela.

Bale could make an amazing Marvel villain and that is what I hope he is

So is everyone pretty meh on New Mutants? The hold up on this mixed with the trailer seems like they should have just put it on Disney +

They absolutely should have. None of these characters will continue on either.

I'm still in the dump in on Disney+ boat, not bring it into the MCU, and then just start mutants from scratch exactly the way Feige wants to

SIAP but the black window movie. What are the thoughts on it’s plot? How does it fit into the timeline? Does it make sense the way the did it retroactively since she’s now dead? I love and also get frustrated with Marvel trailers because they often tell you absolutely zero about the plot at all or purposely send you down an opposite direction

I thought it was pretty hard to see through... ;)

They were definitely not being very transparent

Scott Derrickson is no longer directing Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.

That's a huge bummer, as his visual style really helped set the tone for the first Doctor Strange movie. The movie is scheduled to come out May 7, 2021 so Marvel needs a director ASAP if they want to meet that date.

Eh, I'm fairly indifferent on him leaving. Ultimately, I didn't think he did bad with Doctor Strange, but at the same time, I thought he could have done better as well. I do like his movie, but in the end, its definitely in the lower quadrant of my MCU rankings. In fact, of the 3 movies (not counting Thor: Ragnarok) the character of Doctor Strange has appeared in, I've liked what they've done with his character least in his own solo film. I thought he was best in Infinity War. So, in the end, I'm not too heartbroken about him leaving, as I felt his stamp on the franchise was mostly just adequate enough. Lets see who they bring in now as the new director could take the character to higher heights than Derrickson ever would have.
