Most important 5 day stretch of the season for our NCAA tourney hopes. You just cant miss 2 huge resume building wins at home, have your best win be Alabama and expect to make the tourney.

So if somehow these two slip away......going 12-6 and/or winning the conference tourney won't matter? Anything can happen. Ask Stephan F. Austin. You beat Duke at Cameron.....then lose to said Alabama. Any win helps.....but things don't get real until conference time.

Prohm will win Big 12 COY if they go 12-6 this season. You are right, both of those would easily get us into the Big Dance, but assuming neither of those happen, these 2 games are crucial to build the non-conf resume in the likely even we finish in the bubble discussion.

I’m thinking they need to get one to hold serve, which isn’t great, but isn’t terrible. It’s not the end of the world to lose one with all the opportunities they have left on the schedule.

To this point, losses aren't damaging in the NET context, with two of them (neutral vs. U-M and SH) currently being well within "good loss" zone (I'm not sure which level Oregon State would register right now). What ISU doesn't have yet is a good NET win. Good chance to notch a couple in the next week.
