If you are looking at possible bowl opponents here and dont want to play a G5 school here is what I would cheer for.
-Notre Dame to lose one more game...I dont think they drop to Camping World if they go 10-2

-One of Oregon/Utah to lose and only have 1 in the NY6...Also as many eligible Pac 12 teams as possible

-SEC to have as many eligible teams as possible and Mizzou to get a postseason waiver granted

What bowl wouldn't want us? Exciting team and big travelling fan base. They will have to be impressed by our turnout in the cold and snow. This probably says plenty about what Pollard wants. Now shifting my reservations from Houston to Orlando.

Would be interesting to see how many Cyclone fans would make the trip to Memphis again. Could be wrong but don't think it would be near as many as the last 2 times.

We could have a significant drop off and still be one of the best travelling fan bases.

From an email I just got from the Liberty Bowl with projections about who will play there:

Iowa State vs. Mississippi State, Jim Tomlin, Saturday Down South
Kansas State vs. Tennessee, CollegeFootballNews.com
TCU vs. Tennessee, Jerry Palm, CBS Sports
Texas vs. Tennessee, Bill Bender, Sporting News

Let's get bowl eligible first, and see where things sort out. I'll go anywhere.

I'm sure whatever bowl we go to, there will be a Hok D-Bag in his hok gear.

Now that we are officially bowl eligible and with a ceiling of 8-4, is Orlando still a possibility?

It’s gonna be an exact repeat of 2017. 7-4 going into Manhattan. Win and it’s Orlando. Lose and it’s Memphis.

Camping World is very likely if we win the last two. We would be in a tie for 3rd at the worst and they get the 3rd pick of Big 12 teams (1st: NY6 2nd: Alamo). If Baylor/Oklahoma somehow makes the Playoffs then Camping World get the 4th pick of Big 12 teams.

Now that ISU is bowl-eligible, the top priority in the team's control is to finish 2-0. If that occurs, ISU has head-to-head over both UT and KSU, so at worst we’re 4th in Big 12 bowl pecking order.

What happens beyond that is too fluid to determine at this point.
