Last year in Austin, was it her? View attachment 67785

If you are wearing hawk gear to any of your rival game that is non-Iowa, and you’re not at their home stadium (e.g. Jack Trice), I think you are purposefully trying to be a jack ass and a troll. At that point, you deserve whatever happens to you during something like that. That is such a dbag move, you must have some irredeemable character flaws.

Somebody summed up Iowa fans earlier in this post: tone deaf.

View attachment 67786 Guys, if your wife is a Hawk fan, don't let her wear Hawk gear to an Iowa State game. Unless you can convert her you probably shouldn't have married her.

Unless it’s the Iowa/Iowa State game, this is just generally frowned upon. There is nothing wrong with your wife being a strong, independent woman.....let’s just not confuse that with ignorant and socially unaware.

I sat near a couple who were Hok fans at the KSU game last year. The hubby was decked out in his Hok gear & the wife at least tried to hide her true allegiance by wearing KC Chiefs clothing. Despite this lame attempt, I caught them multiple times cheering for the Purple Kitties. I was in a poor mood by halftime - but had the last laugh as we dominated the Vampire in the 4th quarter. As we finally took the lead, I wanted to say something to them - but the look of disappointment on their faces as the crowd went wild was pure gold.

I went down for the game in Lubbock too. I saw one couple decked out in Iowa gear outside the stadium.

There is one in every crowd.

I am totally surprised that there are Hok trolls and jack asses...

I saw a guy at the Alamo Bowl decked out in Hawk gear. Later they showed the same f*ck celebrating on the jumbotron with a bunch of Coug fans. I'm still pissed about that. That was a sh!t move by the Alamo bowl.
We all saw him.

The one that put me over the top was when I attended the 1999 Civil War game between Oregon and Oregon St. Being an ISU grad, I just wore plain clothes, no Cyclone attire. While tailgating a guy walks by fully decked out in Hok gear including the crappy gold Zubaz pants. They are like a bad rash, you just can't shake them.

Well, when I say I saw him, I mean I almost ran the guy over while I was leaving the bathroom and he was walking in. I just looked at him and said "Really". He had this big sh!tty grin on his face and said "What?". After seeing him on the jumbotron I wish I would have said a few more words to him, but that's what he wanted anyways.
