You would think, if you're a TT Bell ringer, you would be VERY CAREFUL to make sure you hold the ringer a safe distance away from your midsection!

I am not a professional bell ringer, but how else are suppose to ring that bell?

Sometimes this defense is just soft.

I get the strategy to force TTU to go on long drives and not make mistakes with a 3 score lead. But, at some point doesn't the Cyclone D need to get aggressive with some strategic blitzes and pressing coverage closer to the line of scrimmage to disrupt their horizontal passing game? Since halfway through the 2nd qtr, TTU has looked pretty comfortable on offense.

The number of plays TTU has run compared to ISU is staggering. No wonder our defense is a little gassed.

I mean, it’s kind of what our defense is designed to do. Make teams dink and dunk and then take advantage when teams get greedy. To Tech’s credit, they’re just taking what we give them and not trying to make splash plays.
