What are you drinking tonight?

I've really been enjoying just about anything Single Speed has been putting out. Victory Dance may not be a perfect beer, but it sure as hell hits the spot for me.

Naturdays and some Busch Light. I had a beer at Pulpit Rock Brewery in Decorah - it was good, went to live music in Decorah and had a beer from Toppling Goliath. Now on to the affordable beers....

I'm bored to tears at work at the moment and am going to take tomorrow off so the weekend starts tonight with a Bipple.

Does it affect the taste of the beer at all?

I think it does a little bit but it’s really hard for me to tell. I’m not much of a beer connoisseur. The Ripples are pretty much tasteless. They actually taste like water if you just eat the powder.

On another note. I'm bummed that my HyVee no longer carries Oskar Blues.

Victory Dance is a really good "regular" IPA. It's not hazy, has no lactose, has no fruit, isn't trying to set some IBU record, etc. It's just a good hoppy beer, and I have all kinds of time for a beer like that.

I need to go to the liquor store.

Something Singlespeed related sounds good though. That pilsner they put out this summer might be kicking around yet.

Have you tried 007 yet? Singlespeed+Dangerous Man neipa =delicious.

Tried a Marzen (Octoberfest) from Big Grove in Solon earlier this week and ist was pretty good. Sorry can't remember the name. Also grabbed a 6 pack of Lil Sumpin Hazy from Lagunitas.
Outstanding if you are a hazy IPA fan.

LSH is descent but their wet hopped Phase Change was even better. Think it was only available for a short time though.

I’m not a huge marzen guy but Lion Bridge has a good barrel aged marzen-Octobot 3000. Has a good barrel flavor and a nice kick at 8.5 but doesn’t taste too boozy.
