I'd like to Buy a Vowel.Someone with Photoshop should add two four-letter words here. Leave the top one blank and the bottom one says Iowa:
Bar or record store? Ames or DSM? In any event, I think I can get behind this statement. I saw Junior Brown at both People's bars. And bought lots of albums at both music stores.
Ames. The bar and more specifically the awesome college live music venue part. I saw so many good bands there.

Me too. I'd go more to see my friends from other local bands (People's never booked us), but saw plenty of touring acts, too. And then would end up at Lumpy's until they made me leave at the end of the night...
Someone needs to have a sign "Welcome to College AmesDay presented by Iowa State University!" That sign would definitely get on TV.
