Only one other kid in my sons class is going to Iowa State. He has asked my son to room with him several times, his mom has asked us about them rooming together several times. My son has no interest in rooming with him and we told think it not be a good fit so he has delayed it to the point where you can no longer happen.

My son is more of a team player, this kid is strictly about himself. So it’s kind of funny now that my son feels comfortable going to Iowa State but this kid is somewhat freaking out

Hope he dodges that bullet, best thing about college was all the new friendships that you make. In my case they have lasted much longer than any of my high school ones. There was probably 4 from my class that went to ISU very seldom ran into any of them.

He said both have to request to have it happen. So he should be ok. They have majors where they want to live on opposite sides.

Another fun milestone. Z chose a new books that are a series called Upside Down Magic. I got to try and explain the difference between the book title and the series title.

Anybody familiar with knee replacement surgery? Asking for a friend in 5-10 years.

I forgot to mention, mom of little girl baby at daycare who is girl version of little man with her non-napping and FOMO.........mom's super nice and the daughter is totally little man's friend but it has to end. Even though I want her to be my mom friend. I saw pictures they have up of the families for the babies to look at during the day and the mom has a Hawkeye hat on.

Check the surgeon out beforehand and follow the rehab therapist directions. BIL got a full replacement after a partial didn't work out, much better success the 2nd time around for him.
