Real quick on this: Sounds like he had a workout for the Bucks today and will have a few more NBA workouts next week.

The feeling is that ISU is in a good spot here because of playing time, style of play and the fact that he'd be a featured guy in Ames. I also heard that he hit it off well with ISU's current players on the visit.

Memphis likes its chances because of the Penny Hardaway angle and the fact that they, like ISU, are a young team where Tucker could shine.

Auburn seems to be right there while I'm hearing Kansas is a little farther behind due to the fact that in Lawrence, he'd be more like "another guy."

Not sure on a timeline but the thought is he'd pick a school and then ultimately make a decision on the NBA.

2 of Jackson, Grill, Leech, Lewis, or Griffin emerge
Young/Conditt
still have Anderson, if better than the guards

= a tournament team

You look at that lineup and see Tucker doing a lot of the scoring for us, too.

Thanks for the update CW as always.
Obviously a lot to play out and doesn't sound like Tucker has tipped his hand but just being on equal ground with Memphis and Auburn on 5/7 is a good sign.
Rajon would a get his chance to show his skill on ESPN regulary for ISU as the guy. That is something that won't be happening on Memphis in the ACC and Weismann (likely #1 next year) and a top 5 class. Auburn can the SEC eyes but not the featured role considering the talent on the roster. Tough to beat out any vs Penny or Pearl, but better position than I think many of us thought..

Funny how the tone of the Basketball recruiting threads have changed from the morning to afternoon.

Wait...I thought there was no hope for next year and we were destined to be in the Big 12 cellar for the next century or two.

What a difference 24 hours makes on here. Spring could not be going any worse they said.

This is promising news since his visit was quiet but if he is treating it like a business decision I see how the odds go up. KU made a big impression on him judging by his twitter so them being behind surprises me a little. Despite the report I wouldn’t count out KU for a second. Fingers crossed for the good guys.

This one would be enormous. Tucker comes to Ames I truly think we have a chance to be a better team next year. Hed have every opportunity to step right in and put up 20 ppg and showcase his game with our current supporting cast.

CW - Any idea how soon he plans to make a decision? I'd assume he may still be waiting for some additional NBA feedback?
