I don't like UNL at ALL but this just can't be true. If the same AD that hired Mike Riley was still in charge, I could see it, but geez that is a hard sell. And that is being nice.

Everyone knows that Fred wanted the NBA, and when you want something really bad you will jump at opportunity.
It is entirely different when it comes to college jobs, its not his first love, so if you cannot have your first love, you go where you can be near it day in and day out. UCLA fits the bill.
Fred is not going to go to a situation where maintaining does not really benefit him, and not maintaining will kill any thoughts of jumping back to the NBA.

I would ideally want him to stay out of the Big 12, the Big Ten West, and no Mizzou.
I know that might be asking too much, though.
Fred at Minnesota would be way more of a competitor for talent with us than, say, Nebraska.
Can they just rip the Band-Aid off and get this over with already...
Anyone else out there like me and hope Fred has about as much success with Nebby as he did with the Bulls? I hope Nebby is just terrible with him as their head coach.

I’m not sure for the other people on the western side of the state, but my hatred for the huskers far exceeds my hatred for the hawks.
