Hoiberg to Huskers

I hear people say things like Fred it too smart to...
But this is the same guy that went into a complete disaster in Chicago under management that everyone knows is suspect at best. IDK

Everyone knows that Fred wanted the NBA, and when you want something really bad you will jump at opportunity.

It is entirely different when it comes to college jobs, its not his first love, so if you cannot have your first love, you go where you can be near it day in and day out. UCLA fits the bill.

Fred is not going to go to a situation where maintaining does not really benefit him, and not maintaining will kill any thoughts of jumping back to the NBA.

For me? Absolutely.
There are exactly three jobs I don't want Fred to take:
UNL
Iowa
KU

If he took a job anywhere outside the big 12 and even UT, that team would become my second favorite CBB team.

I would ideally want him to stay out of the Big 12, the Big Ten West, and no Mizzou.

I know that might be asking too much, though.

Fred at Minnesota would be way more of a competitor for talent with us than, say, Nebraska.

Waffle would be Miles 2.0

Except his name sounds delicious.

Meh, he will improve them and maybe make the tourney once or twice in next three years, then he gone.

It has been reported that Fred is not high on UCLAs list.
