THANK YOU! Like many, I had given up on you. But then you came out on Thursday and reminded us who you really could be. You put the egos and the fighting behind you, and you took us on another joy ride during a magnificent weekend in Kansas City.
THANK YOU for playing (mostly) amazing defense, for hustling, for rebounding.
THANK YOU, Michael Jacobson, for turning into the emotional and vocal leader of this team, for one of the more underrated Big 12 Tourney performances I've ever seen. Tyreese Haliburton, THANK YOU for being the positive energy guy, the guy that does more little things than any Cyclone I've seen the past decade; for hitting absolutely clutch shots during the tournament title run.
THANK YOU, Marial Shayok, for the $$ threes against K State that got us to the championship game, for an overall performance so good, you were named MVP.
THANK YOU, NWB for your veteran presence, for the clutch shots in the title game. THANK YOU THT, for your huge performance in game one.
THANK YOU, George Conditt, for some huge minutes off the bench, for the ways your hustle and defense were a factor in ways the box score will never show. THANK YOU, Cam Lard, for the energy and ways you altered shots against KU.
THANK YOU, Lindell, for showing us, once again, just how good you can be off the dribble, how explosive and unguardable you are when you make good decisions.

Yes it’s me making fun of Trump sitting all alone and no other world leader wanting to talk with him during a break in action. Sorry also trying to be funny with an open letter. Big fail! Will go back into hiding.
it dont matter this is a family site and we need to keep polictics to the cave where my wife and her boyfiernd brandon turn our basement into so sort of party/sex area. im not allowed down there but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Don’t beat yourself up man. Anything too preachy or directed toward players gets a ton of criticism here but keep swinging.
