I grew up in a county with exactly 0 stoplights. Only 4 way stops. It's been interesting living in Ames and remembering that I actually have to pay attention to stoplights. There have been a few times I have pulled up to a red light, looked both ways, and drove right through it because that was my natural instinct. I'm usually about halfway through the intersection when I realize what I'm doing but by then it's too late. Luckily no one has been around when I did it so no harm no foul I guess.

I don't always drink most of a bottle of champagne by myself on a Monday night but when I do I cap it off with a slice of key lime pie.

This should go well. I saw something that looked like a jewelry store ad so I thought let’s see if I should get the wife something. No name but looked like a jewelry ad. Turned out to be an Ashley Madison ad.
Crimson Tide was 10 times the movie that Hunter Killer was...and neither of them comes close to the perfection that is Hunt For Red October. IMHO, of course.
You can thank him for Bill Cosby going down too. He had a joke about Cosby being a rapist and said "I know you don't believe me, just Google 'Bill Cosby rape' and you'll get more results than my name".
He also went to the M-Shop in the Union in 2011/2012 and did a whole 1.5 hour set for a 30 person audience. I was front row and that's where I heard the New Orleans parade joke for the frost time. That was definitely one of the highlights of my college career. In fact, all 5 of us that were there will be at this bachelor party
Definitely recommend all his stuff too. He has had specials on Netflix and comedy central, so it's fairly easy to find.
It was my birthday today so I treated myself with a keylime pie for dessert and thought of @BoxsterCy and what do you know, he had one too.

I spent most of Sunday afternoon chipping ice and slush from the bottom of the driveway. What a mess. Didn't want that frozen mess of ice boulders there to drive over in the morning. (I even got thanked by the vixen.....I didn't think she noticed!)
I run a red light routinely on my route to work in the morning. If I get to it before 6:45 am it will change quickly. A minute later, it takes forever.
My mom actually got pulled over and issued a ticket for this very thing a while ago
New Orleans is a blast. Just don't get to stupid (don't want to spend the weekend in a new orleans jail. Not sure how long you'll be there, but Frenchman Street and Magazine street have a bunch of good bars if you want something other than Bourbon Street. Oh and watch out with hurricanes and hand grenades. They'll sneak up on you really fast.
