Things went really well. From some of the matchups it could have been ugly. Degen and Gremmel both beat guys that they lost to last time they faced. Probably the only upset loss for ISU was Coleman. He has really been off lately.Seemed like we did pretty well. Would people that know better agree?
Degen and Miklus have both punched their tickets. Gomez, Parker, Colbray, and Gremmel all could potentially punch theirs tonight. Everybody else has to wait until tomorrow.
Isn’t gremmel gaurenteed 6th at this point or am I looking at bracket wrong? And there are 6 spots allocated at Hwt so isn’t his ticket punched?

Big matches next round but so, far so good.
Didn’t know that, but was going off seeds which Coleman was higher. The guy that beat Coleman was ranked just above him in the last coaches panel. Hastings was #22 and Coleman was #23. Sucks that he lost but it wasn't really an upset. He'll still be in the conversation for top four.
I believe they both just need to win one more matchTeam solid in second place and everyone still wrestling. A really good day so far for the good guys. Would appreciate any analysis on the positions of Schumacher and Straw, and what needs to happen for them to qualify.

Thanks. Agree that Straw has really increased his chances. Love what Schumacher has done with the opportunity.Grapplecy would be the best to answer this, but assume he's at the tourney. Seems to me we have 3 guys kind of on the bubble. Mackell just won in the wrestlebacks and needs to win one of his next 2 to be assured a ticket as there are 5 allocations at 125. He did earn one of those 5, so would probably have a decent shot at an at large should he finish 6th or 7th.
Straw has been wrestling really well, but unfortantely only one auto-qualifier at 157. Win and he's in. I don't know as much about the rest of the field, but I'd think he'd have a decent shot at an at large finishing 2nd.
Logan needs 1 more win tonight to feel comfortable. There are 6 qualifiers at 165 and he would have to lose and have help to finish 7th. His matchup with Ward from AF is very winnable, so like his chances.
We may qualify all 10!

Why are there not more of our guys locked into the ncaas? Example schumacher is in consi semis and there is 6 allocations? Same with Gomez

They wrestle for true 7th when there are 6 allocations.
