Anybody own a Buck Lucerne? My Camry is approaching 200k miles; I know it will still run for a while but I'd like to be able to get a couple grand out of it still. I'm thinking of getting an old man car and like the Lucerne.

My dad has always owned a Buick since the 50’s. Don’t think he ever had a Lucerne, if he did it was only for a short while (he trades up his cars every few years, they stopped making the Lucerne in 2011). They currently have a Regal and a Enclave.

I assume he likes Buick's if he's owned them for that long? I think they're supposed to be pretty reliable

My car wouldn't start today so I got it jumped and drove around an hour to try and charge her back up before heading to the grocery store. Did my grocery shopping and the car died again. The battery may be completely dead, but I'll worry about that later.

Made my dad's famous chili (won a few cookoffs back when he was alive and I've memorized the recipe) but swapped the beef out for bison since it was on sale and it intrigued me. Also decided to see if I could pressure cook it in my instapot. The smell is unbelievable right now.

We haven't had a performance for 3 weeks so I've been letting my beard grow back out. We have one tomorrow so I shaved it off again today. Back to being a babyface. I miss it already. Ladies, is this what postpartum depression feels like? *ducks*

To make matters worse, I went to Whiskey River for dinner tonight and the very cute bartender, as soon as I handed her my ID, said, "My gosh, you're such a baby!" Thanks. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

Had a great day with DH. Was nice to just enjoy time with him. Came home and baby had taken perfect naps for grandma. Like, wtf. Didn't cry, slept for longer than 32 minutes (did 90 for one!!!), and they played and played. We've been struggling so hard with naps I'm was only semi-joking when I asked if she wanted to move in. She did get a blowout that somehow got up to his ears. I've had back and ankles before but never that, lol.

Despite the good food and show......highlight of the day was the three of us playing in the hall before bedtime "surprising" little man by one of us jumping around the corner and him giving the biggest belly laughs that got all of us laughing. I love my little family :)

Yes, he really likes his Buicks. I forgot his third “fun” car is also a Buick—a Cascada convertible. He also will buy Chevy/GMC for farm trucks and whatever my mom gets at the moment. He has gotten to the point in life where he just trades up every few years so he doesn’t have to deal with long-term maintenance issues.

Since he has a lot of experience buying vehicles, I brought him with me when we traded in our Toyota Sienna for a newer Sienna. He was very uncomfortable dealing with Toyota and not his usual brands. ;)

Got a Century that we are swappong transmissions in. Could be yours for cheap.

Years ago I had a 70? Buick Electra 225 with a 455 4 barrel carb. I loved that car.

I would say this has been the coldest winter I have experienced since moving to Omaha. Still nothing like I experienced in central Iowa.

Sure looked nice outside this afternoon ... but what a wind! It did get to 7+ degrees here, so that’s something. Wistfully remembering past late season BB games when it was tailgating weather.

Welp couldn't had two more different days at work long one on Sat. then a nice quick one on Sun. Glad I finished up the outside part today before the wind picked up.

If anybody changes their own oil Farm&Fleet is running conventional for 99 cents a quart. $3 a quart for full synthetic.

If anyone is wandering thru north central Ia Timbukbru in Clarion is worth a stop tried a flight liked all 4.

Weekend started off with LilWx getting his face scraped up after face planting on the driveway trying to walk the dog....my fault. He literally got swept off his feet flew through the air and landed face down in the driveway.

It isn’t now ending with the TV not working again.
