No doubt Baylor's offensive rebounds killed us, but THT, Babb, and Wiggy all were bad from 3. If just one of those three shooters was on, we win.

If it was Year 9 of the Hoiberg and the trajectory was the same as CSP’s first 4 years you would be hearing the same things. It is the Tom Davis effect. Once you reach a plateau you want to reach for the next level. Even Fred would be getting grief about the program plateauing if this was his 9th year.

Now you’re saying it’s year 9?

Jesus. It’s year four. And the guy was left roster missing a class.

And you think our staff isn’t doing that?
Do you think some guys putting on weight means they’ll “get fat like Doke and not play 70% of the year cause their feet can’t handle such a heavy load?”

Cat, I like your cause, but this level of comprehension is below you. You’re taking this worse than normal, I’m afraid.

Oh, little Gunner. How many years into your meltdown are you? I hope you’re happier than you appear.

Actually people who are fans of Iowa state are not happy today. It was a tough loss last night.

But people like you are thrilled. Remember when you disappeared during the winning streak. You were devastated and cowardly.

We have already established your basketball knowledge is ****. This is all you have left

Please just read the thread instead of throwing a tantrum. If this was Year 9 under Fred there would more questions about the program plateauing then anyone is even remotely implying with CSP.

I’m not implying that he should. The poster implied that people are killing CSP for essentially the same record that CFH had in the first 5 years. What I am telling you is that Fred would not be adored in the same fashion it this was Year 9 and he had CSP’s results in Year 6-9. Right or wrong, it is the nature of a fanbase to want/expect to continue building.

With Ohio State they fired Matta after an NIT and a missed tournament. Holtman was 25-9 in his first season with a 15-3 conference record. I think Ohio State is in a better situation when you look at how Matta’s career ended.

Of course you’re implying he should. And you have done so consistently.

And you seem to ignore that Johnny is as beloved in retrospect as he was when he was here. **** people still ape Larry, even though his record without tinsley was under .500

It was a joke, although Doke is carrying too much bad weight too where he’d be better to trim weight. why don’t you think our players are putting on weight in the weight room? I guess I haven’t had that concern.

Plateauing as a year in year out ncaa team with a sweet 16 thrown in half the time would be really good.

Why are you rationalizing this? Why would there be questions about prohm in year 4?

Nobody is thrilled period. You have the perception that people enjoy losing so they can come on here and torment you. Get over yourself. People want this basketball program to be an Elite Top 15 program which it has the potential to be. CSP might take us there or he might not but this idea that fans want to lose so they can complain is ridiculous. They complain because we lost, which is human nature. You think I’m happy driving back 4 hours last night after that game to get up and go to work today.

This team is on pace to go 12-6, which would tie Ejim's best year, and beat his other 3 years.

This team is on pace to lose 4 games as double digit favorites at home. What is your point?

This year is still (so far) a big success. But it COULD have been an all-timer if we could close out games or beat teams we are supposed to beat at home.

Happier, Cat, not happy. And it’s not contained to last night or today.

It’s clear you have trouble handling these losses so much that you can’t even enjoy the wins. That must be miserable for you.

You appear to have me confused with another poster. It’s a little odd for you to be thinking of me after games, but thanks. Given your meltdown over criticism after games like last night, there’s no way you could handle a nay word after wins. I’m happy to DM you my thoughts if you think it would help you.

Well after the Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas Tech and Ole Miss games I was in this forum giving the staff and team credit for their gameplans and knack for responding to adversity which is a strength.

I agree we can blame youth to an extent but look at this clip that includes some upperclassmen watching Baylor do whatever the **** they wanted to. Team is just off in some games. Like they just don't give a ****.

I cursed for a full minute after that play, we had three guys under the basket and let one BU guy run in take the ball and put it back. Maddening!

Link?

I have seen this thrown around like it is fact yet the only facts I have seen posted about it is that only one of the three losses had a double digit spread.
