Several outlets have reported this story. This is from Yahoo Sports on the ex-Cyclone's situation:

Mike Fisher of 247Sports reports Friday that Irving has failed to comply with the NFL’s drug policy by missing multiple tests the past two months. There is no indication Irving failed a test since serving a four-game suspension to open the season, but the NFL counts failure to comply the same in its testing policy.

Irving, who served a four-game suspension to open the 2017 season for violating the league’s policy against performance enhancing drugs, missed the first four games of this season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. He missed all of training camp and most of the offseason program because of off-field issues

Man, he actually played well the last time I watched him. I thought he could make it.

I've never understood this. Same with Ricky Williams throwing away his career just because he had to smoke some pot. You're getting paid millions of dollars to stay clean for 5-10 years. Why can't they just do that and then get high as **** after they retire. They could spend the next 30 years high if they wanted.

Randy Gregory as well.

Remember, it’s not addictive though.

Some feel they need that edge to stay at that level. And some probably do need that edge to stay. He might be one of them. You are talking about a brutal sport and competing for spots against elite athletes.
