With Jacobson, Lard, and Solo all primed for most of the 4/5 duty, is Talley going to get back on CSP's good graces with some minutes this season? I thought he showed a lot of promise last year and his length/height makes him really the only tweener big that we have with some offensive prowess. (i realize THT has a bigger build, but he is only 6'4").

Probably not, Im sure we'll see some of him here and there but the fact is he has better players in front of him competing for minutes. I could see him getting 10 minutes one night then not being used the next, depending on gameflow and matchups.

He can be in Steve’s good graces and not be playing.

I suspect we’ll need him this year.

Wonder if he’s wishing he would’ve exercised his 2nd grad transfer option. as long as you have your undergrad, you’re free to transfer without sitting out.

He will get spot minutes depending on matchup, but he doesn't have the offensive skill as the other guys playing right now. Maybe he can help be a defensive stopper?

Depth.

Lewis looked much improved and isn't getting to play right now either. Depth is good. People get injured and people get sick or go full slump and we have guys who have proven they can play if needed.

Depth is overrated in games and underrated in practice.

I thank him for coming to Iowa State and think he would have had a big role on many good Iowa State teams in the past, but he is just behind too much now.

He is versatile, but his lack of shooting makes him a hard fit for our style.

I'd like to see the rule on this or an example of somebody else doing it.

I really like Talley’s game and have a feeling he’s going to give us quite a lift in a lot of games!

I think he can be the unsung hero in a lot games.
