doesnt every school have to have a white uniform?
Yeah it's called a home uniform. 99% of college teams wear white at home.
I guess we could wear gold at home but from what I've heard, we did not order gold alternates.
I think in the past we've worn gold on the road as well.
True. Gold can go both ways. But again, I don't think we'll have gold alternates![]()
I love those jerseys. I really like the fact that there is no outline around the numbers. Classic look.
Alot of coaches will suprise teams with alternate jerseys mid year. Our high school coach did that and I know the did similar at Florida and Duke.
Agreed.I think they would have looked better if they would have blocked the Iowa State with a thin gold border but all-in-all not too bad.
The gold uniforms are frequently used during tournaments when they have to play two days in a row.
FYI, we didn't even have gold alternatives with our previous uniform design(Gmac era).
The last uniform design to have a gold alternate was when Wayne was here. The gold alternate debuted against Virginia during his second season. The previous (and only other uniform design) to have a gold alternate debuted in the 1996-1997 season, Dedric Willoughby's senior season. They would be worn off-and-on until 1998-1999 I believe, Marcus Fizer's sophmore season, when the team changed uniform designs again. The jersey's worn that year lasted only one year only, as the next season we were taken over my Adidas.
Not that it matters![]()
We wore gold at least twice last year.

Not a good picture, but here is our yellow from last year.
