***Official "What to Do on Thursday in S.A." Thread***

I don't arrive until 4pm so I figure I should be checked into the hotel by 6pm. Then off to wander about, find something to eat and drink.

I know it's a big party (and I'm jealous of all of you that are going) but, while you're there, I'd highly encourage you all to take a little time to learn a bit of the history of Texas and especially some of the events leading up to and following the Battle of the Alamo. It's so much more interesting than the history of the Upper Midwest. After about an hour of sober time, you can go back to having fun.

I booked dinner at Bohanans Prime Steak And seafood. I was kinda hoping for more of a Texas steakhouse feel but reviews of this place are really good.

Don’t tell me how to live my life.... I’ll drink if I want!!

But seriously, thanks for the recommendation!

Or learn the history of the Alamo while you are not sober:

I don't recommend the Alamo, but I guess everybody should experience it once.

Found another interesting item about the headwaters of the San Antonio River. And located on the campus of Incarnate Word.

Sounds like something that ag people could really enjoy.

I find it funny that I have yet to hear one person say The Alamo was actually worth visiting.

I don't know why I click on these threads. I can't go to the bowl game and it just makes me want to open punch a kitten even more.
