Weather Saturday

Tickets sold will be nearly 60,000, because these are the tickets from the SDSU game.

Yeah, not sure how that would be announced. Given all the weird circumstances.

Your ticket may say SDSU, Incarnate Word, or Drake!

I would expect the ticket takers would be told to not deny anyone access if there are ticket issues. If there is anything that looks remotely like a ticket . . . should be good enough!!!

Here I am, following a weather thread, with no updated snow projections? CF usually is awesome with weather threads, which is why I'm watching this one. Have a wedding tomorrow that my wife is in, so we can't really miss it.
Earl has steadfastly said, "No snow for you!" Maybe some snowflakes mixed in, but any accumulation will have to wait until cooler temps later Saturday into Sunday, an even then only and inch or two max.

Plenty of cold air on the way though...

Really struggling with decision to make it over to the game. I live in the Quad Cities. What do you weather folks say for the drive back after the game? I don't like to miss hanging out with thousands of my friends but...

But with storm watches in bordering counties and not just cold but wet and windy conditions, I would guess most who have any distance to travel will stay home.

I don't want to drive over from Omaha, it's 3 hours in good weather. I gave my tickets away to someone in Ankeny. Just wanted to see somebody be there. Even cost me $24.70 to overnight the SEZ tickets and parking pass. Wunderground still shows rain all night, all morning and all afternoon. I would probably go but didn't expect Mrs. LarryISU to spend all day going to Ames to be cold and wet.

I'm up about 30 miles from the IA/MN border, Kossuth County. We'll get snow, just not sure how much and how much ice before hand

Same here, trying to decide whether to drive over from the QC area...I have a 16 year home game streak on the line, but I don't know about tomorrow...

But will you be in the stadium for the whole game? Making it to the tailgate doesn’t count.

I am planning on leaving at half assuming it is a sufficient blowout. Kids have events later in the day so I was super happy that this was moved to 11 am.

Coming from Winnebago county in tomorrows weather just doesn't make sense to me. I was able to give my tickets away, so those will be full. Not risking life and limb for a football game.

Given how many free tickets are being given away (and, in some cases, trying to give them away without much success), I would speculate under 25K butts-in-seats. Maybe 40K "tickets sold."

Saw someone on Facebook yesterday trying to sell 2 tickets (regular bleacher tickets) and a parking pass for $50! Good luck! (I got 6 free tickets and a parking pass.)

Tickets sold will still be over 50k. Isn't this counting sales from that canceled game in there?
