And I had to go and open my big mouth.....

After announcing that I would be at the game last night, the chili I ate for supper Sunday night thought differently. I spent most of the afternoon and evening not far from the toilet. I was going to take my FIL and MIL to the game, and neither of them can drive after dark, so the whole trip was cancelled.

Hopefully KC isn't too upset, as I failed to take her place in cheering on the Cyclones. They did play pretty well, I guess, from what I could hear on the radio in between dashes to the loo.

Probably the side of romaine salad. Just sayin'.

A camo bandana would fit better

He's potentially refluxy but hadn't had issues for a few weeks it seemed. Had also wondered about hunger or growth spurt so he got a bottle last night before bed and he definitely should have been full. Ended up spitting up some at the next wakeup. I wonder if he's starting to teethe....no bumps yet but lots of chewing. Rubbing his head/ear too and I don't think he has an ear infection. We'll plug along, he has his next shots next week so we can ask then if still going on.

yes ma'am. Well, I think anyway. Seems like lots of drool to me. Google tells me though that soreness and symptoms can come on even months before the actual tooth comes through. But the movement and such can bother them well prior to that. Me no likey.

Mine started running like faucets when teething. Those rubber bulb chew rings you stick in the fridge really worked well for them. They make them bumpy now - even better. :D

Not exactly sure.
@Cybirdy looked at wrestling schedule and guess who is on there.

Son got certified to go this week, lost roughly too many pounds in 10 days. Too much water lost, but he’s listening to me now and can get things cleaned up for him in a week if he follows. If he would have listened last week I could got him to sodium flush and cut the need in half. Now just a wrestle off tonight for his spot.

Baby Tylenol and ibuprofen are your friends. Also, you may even get some diarrhea with the teething.

Have Tylenol but hadn't used it for this yet. I think we aren't supposed to use ibuprofen until he's six months but I can ask next week. I should tell Dh to ask daycare tonight how he's seeming. I bet they have lots of experience recognizing when babies are starting to teethe.

Because we're talking babies now, can I be a happy grandma here and say my little 6-weeks-early one is now home and weighing more than 7 lb.? Preemie stuff became too small a couple of weeks ago so two really cute things I bought downtown at Duck Worth Wearing were donated to "her" hospital for other tiny folks.

In the Victorian age they used to give teething babies a gin soaked hanky to chew on.
