Was Les Miles drunk in his press conference?!

His guys are going to play a style that makes them visible in the community...and they will do some things in the community to be visible.

Did I follow that correctly?
I guess Les is going to use the same style Self uses with the BB team.

Hope his coaching at Kansas is as bad as that presser. I can't stop laughing after seeing that.

Actually, he's probably just trying to avoid saying he's going to build a winner. "We're going to be visible in the community. And...well...that's about it."

Rhoads sucked at public speaking. Campbell is absolutely great at it.

Campbell is absolutely great? Not yet. He is at his best when he is with CW and relaxes. Otherwise, he mostly gives coach-speak, uses words that don't quite fit, and mixes up cliches ("We need to be great as coaches in terms of preparation to be great").

But guys, @randomfan44 said he's a home run hire.
Oh, no, a coach who isn't awesome at lame press conferences. How will our football team improve?

Meanwhile, Miles is already contacting all of the in-state talent. Let me ask you this, if you were a good player in the state of Kansas, would you rather play for Les Miles or go to KSU knowing that the last coaching days of Coach Snyder could come at any minute? My guess is that Ku will be a much improved team next season.

Les could contact all the in-state talent before finishing a sixer. And the good ones will leave the state.

Talked to my brother today and he had no idea that KU had signed Miles. The first thing he said was "Isn't he too medicated to coach". Now he didn't go into details but he obviously knows something. Hard to say how it will turn out, but it certainly looks like there is a decent chance this is a complete train wreck hire.
