Campbell is absolutely great? Not yet. He is at his best when he is with CW and relaxes. Otherwise, he mostly gives coach-speak, uses words that don't quite fit, and mixes up cliches ("We need to be great as coaches in terms of preparation to be great").

Let me ask you this, if you were a good player in the state of Kansas, would you rather play for Les Miles or go to KSU knowing that the last coaching days of Coach Snyder could come at any minute? My guess is that Ku will be a much improved team next season.

Les could contact all the in-state talent before finishing a sixer. And the good ones will leave the state.

Talked to my brother today and he had no idea that KU had signed Miles. The first thing he said was "Isn't he too medicated to coach". Now he didn't go into details but he obviously knows something. Hard to say how it will turn out, but it certainly looks like there is a decent chance this is a complete train wreck hire.
