I hated those trips, really hated those trips. I always hammered it down when driving. Several times when going, I would bounce the driver back with the paramedic and drive myself if they were a law abiding driver. We aren't supposed to go past 10-15 over the speed limit. I knew the top end of each and usually I would get us into the one who topped at 98 so we would get there quickly. No cop stops you with lights on, no matter the speed, unless you are plain dangerous. I miss the really old ones from the 90s who could hit 110, it make the trip better.
Worst trip was one where i rode along as a restrainer, since the guy was kinda leg rubbing the female paramedic, I found a time to get her positioned away from him so she wouldn't have to endure that. He was an involuntary psych ward admit. He had to use the facilities so I gave him one of those little urinals to go. I sat there for over an hour anticipating when he would cover me with its contents. He kept giving me that look, but fortunately I stayed dry.

Unfortunately this crap has always happened, just getting uncovered better. I despise it also, but there is no test for whether you should be a parent or not, and sadly the stupid ones are too stupid to use contraceptives it seems.
that's what I've heard. Apparently there's a song called "I've got [alternate word for whoares, think garden tool] in different area codes" and DH will sing "I've got rolls in different area codes" when doing diaper changes.
Wisconsin is a slightly above average team. They have the advantage of playing all of the teams in the Big Ten West. It’s not dissimilar at all to the old Big 12 North. How many years did Nebraska look really good only to go and get destroyed in the Big 12 Championship and then destroyed in their bowl game?
As much as I'd like to stop bad people from becoming bad parents..........I also don't want to live somewhere that says if and when I can have children. Best thing I can think is to make sure orgs like DCFS have the right funding/staffing, services are available to those struggling, and good sex ed................though on the last two, you can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink.

I thought Iowa would win the West if they beat Wisconsin. The only thing missing from their schedule was Rutgers. Just the cream from the cream puffs. No Michigan. No Ohio State. No Michigan State.
Now they will finish against a much improved Husker team. As much fun as the falling Huskers thread was they are playing much better and looking to finish strong after their cluster **** lossing streak. Iowa had some close heartbreakers, what they to finish their season is a soul crushing 3 TD loss to Nebraska.
Some people should not be parents, and conversely, many people who would be great parents struggle to have a baby.

Iowa doesn’t play Rutgers? I thought that was their “protected rivalry?” Or maybe that’s Maryland. It’s a joke regardless.
And yes, any team that throws the ball gives Iowa fits. It’s why it frustrates me so much about our game with them, because everyone knew it and we still didn’t do it. But Scott Frost is not afraid to throw the ball. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Iowa loses to Northwestern and Nebraska.
Northwestern seems to have a knack for beating Iowa. Think over the last 10 years they might have a winning record against them.

I get the joke, but it actually made me genuinely curious.
I agree and understand, and Im not one to ever tell someone how to raise their child (for a couple reasons) but, I ha e an idea on how to "fix" this problem. Its never going to fly unfortunately and this earth will just get more ans more populated with these types of people.
