So yesterday I thought I'd better unhook the hoses from the outside faucets, since they were talking about frost. I got one off just fine, but the other is absolutely frozen. I even had my big slip-joint pliers, I strained against it, but finally quit because I was afraid I might break the pipe connection.

Anyone have a tip for getting the connection loose? (I thought about heat, but I don't think that would help much.) Is there a product to spray on that helps loosen frozen pipe connections?

There probably is a product, but I’ve used hot water to get ice out of downspouts. Doesn’t need to be boiling when you’re dealing with ice.

Plastic or metal ends on hoses?

It is supposed to warm up. Procrastination may be the best tool.

Funny that!

I have 4 Hurricane glasses from Pat O's that will be brought out if I ever entertain any RTT'ers in my Mullet Trailer down by the river.
Nice. Do we get to pick how many rum shots go in the drink?

Or is this moonshine.

Since you're a law-talking dude it's most likely upscale, sophisticated moonshine.

Wife updated our email a little over a year ago. Now instead of just showing new emails, it does this link thing where it only shows one and then throws the rest underneath it. So if you delete the last email it deletes all for some reason.

The most annoying thing is there is some odd reply set up. If I reply to an email and give half the information and then reply later with the rest; the second reply always ends up having me email myself and not who I want to email. Even though I press reply on the email I was sent. Then I have to forward the email I sent myself and not delete it otherwise it erases everything or I have to completely retype the thing.

Have you tried WD40?

I disagree, CCWR soup gets better in the fridge. The recipe I use has bacon in it, too. Although I would classify it more as a “stewp” or a stew/soup the way I make it—a very thick soup.

No one in my family appreciates soup. I will make it at least once a week in the fall/winter and there are usually complaints every time. So far no one has offered to make dinner instead of me, so they get soup once a week.

I'm moving in. See you soon!!!

Sure, as to the number of rum shots. No, the moonshine doesn't go into Hurricanes. They need the rum.

I do have a client who drives truck for some folks in Templeton who got me some of what is alleged to be the "good stuff". Who knows. All I can say for sure is that it drastically improved the freezing point of the coolant in the Lawmobile.

Best tasting antifreeze ever

People bash on Templeton Rye in Iowa, but I don’t care, I think it’s a good rye whiskey.

I would give warm water a shot but the thermal shock and thermal expansion would have me worried about warming it up too quick. Another option would be to buy some heat tape/rope.
