Who will cry more when my smiley boy gets his shots today........baby or mommy? He's so smiley and cute right now, I feel like I'm betraying him :(

Also, pray they don't recommend a dairy-free diet to see if a couple of his issues clear up. I can't even.

When I first read that I thought it said "He's so smelly and cute right now..."
:)

With all due respect to a new mother...it would be quite impressive if you out cry him. We have been there and the next couple of days will be less than enjoyable...but you get through it.

Remember why you are giving him shots. Oh, that's right, you are an anti-vaxxer...

Seriously, if the dairy is causing him problems good to find out now. My cousin was a sickly, ill-mannered baby. He went on like that for his entire infancy and toddler years before they discovered he was lactose intolerant although they didn't exactly phrase it that way back then. This was about 60 years ago.

NWS issues a Severe Thunderstorm Warning right as I get the 10 minute warning for a meeting. I guess I could cancel the meeting that will likely be lightly attended.

Speaking of weather, does it seem like this fall is kinda crazy for big storms so far? Seems I associate September with rain, not full blown thunderstorms and severe weather cycling through every week.

Some bar in town is setting up a big screen outdoors for a Husker viewing party against Wisconsin this weekend. They should call it a Husker thrashing party because I hope they experience another good old thrashing like last weekend.
The game starts at 6:30pm and it looks like the screen is facing east meaning the sun should be in everyones eyes for the first part of the game.

Its so they won't be able to see the beginning of the beat down, get them drunk before they realize what is happening. Maybe they think they will start hitting on their cousins before the sun goes down and nobody will notice the loss.

I almost attended Nebraska even though I had never been on campus. I scored high enough for a free ride and it would be dumb to turn down free college I thought. They reanalyzed my application and I was denied admittance when I failed to meet one of the standard requirements. My mother and father weren't related. Scholly pulled.

I usually use this with Iowa, but Nebraska actually fits better.

I am competitive, and have a reasonably large vocabulary, so...

My wife used to tell me not to use big words with the girls, when they were little. I called BS on that. If they didn't understand me, they could always ask for a clarification.
Big words don't bother me at all. I use them too. What bothers me is these bogus 2 letter words (like "ng", or rf). I call BS on those!

I think those may be czech or bohemian words. Like the names they have: Trchzrztscha. They put the a at the end because someone told them they needed a vowel.

Can I steal just a smidge of vixen's thunder, @SCyclone ?

I gots a job. (Hence the vague celebratory like posts on Thursday)

Start date TBD, but I'll be the accounting coordinator at the HyFive at Mills Civic & I-35 in WDM.

I'm in this weird, giddy, nervous mood.

Congrats Sara, Fantastic!! You will do well I know. Will you commute? That seems like a little of a haul, or did you just move? For some reason I thought maybe he had changed places at least.
