Hey KC - it worked! Somebody found this on Facebook, this was a club in Fort Dodge back in the day. This is where I met the vixen. I just thought I'd share the funny sentiment on the marquee.

Just received a flush letter from a school where I knew things weren't going to work (and probably shouldn't have).
I know the last line is supposed to be some sort of kind encouraging thing, but it just sounds odd to a nitpicker like me: " We encourage you to continue to apply for additional positions that match your interests and skills set."
Well, yeah, that's kind of the job searching deal.
This was an HSBC, and they don't really do U.S. History. I didn't expect much. Prairie View and Alabama A&M should be along shortly.

No AC for 3 days while they get replacement for my unit.
I think I might get a hotel tonight and try and get reimbursed. I am pretty sure there are laws around not having AC in the summer much like Minnesota has those no heat in the winter laws.

Kidding aside, we are so used to flipping switches and running heat and air. When my power was out a few weeks back I keep automatically flipping switches. I knew the power was out but muscle memory still reached for the switch when I entered another dark room. I am a yuge fan of electricity.
