My two favorites right now are:
TRXC - Robotics for surgery.
HEAR - gaming headset manufacturer with the fortnite craze.

Both are expected to have exceeded expectations for ER in early August.

I was thinking someone had created a tracker for these stocks that we picked. Can we get a 6 month update?

On a side note, it's funny to look at the posts from February where it seemed like the world was ending.

I've learned in investing, as in life, the highs and lows are not nearly as high or low as we think.

Would anyone on here be interested in a more formal investing club? Maybe each take $500 and track our trades and returns and update each month? Maybe don't do it with a pre-set dollar amount but still track returns in a common way? There is a lot of interest and knowledge here and I know I'd like to learn from some of you.

Pooling money seems like a bad idea these days. Because then you have to deal with accountants and K1's etc. I have found an app that you can trade like an investment club without the money. But it seemed really early almost a Beta release. Lets see if I can find the website.

Facebook got hammered today. Anyone going to buy the dip tomorrow.

I bought GE today at $13 and plan to sell at $14 and then do it all over again.

Ehh say what? I show FB closing at new all time highs 217.58. Not a stock I want to own out of personal preference. On the other hand AT&T did sell off pretty bad after beating earnings. Not sure what I want to do with it now.

My bad, FB is down 20% in after hours trading should have worded it better.

I just saw that go across the scroll on the news. That is a big move that is pretty rare even for after hours which can be overly dramatic. I'll have to wait and read up on the story.

Talk about another example blowing up the Efficient Market Hypothesis, man wiping out $132 Billion dollars in the after hours with thin trading is another example. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...-implode-after-revenue-user-growth-disappoint

Hoping under armor has good q2 er tomorrow. Should have sold at $22 but got greedy and now it’s dropped to $19. I’m suing the piss out of @ChrisMWilliams if his recommendation doesn’t work out.

I've got a few grand in it and am going to keep putting more in. I think it'll be good over the long term. The idiot complaining about it was in the 2017 thread - it's done nothing but go up since he was trolling it.

I got about the same in. Bought around $12. I think I’m gonna sell what I put in and ride the rest out long term. In all seriousness seeing several people mentioning it on here over the years put it on my radar and after seeing it drop like a rock I bought near the bottom and it’s been an awesome buy thus far. Really enjoy these threads and hearing everyone’s take on things too.

I’ve got a good portion of my eggs in the AMD basket. I’m young so I can gamble a bit. My avg buy price for AMD is 11.12. Wish i had found it sooner! My supervisor is a techie and has been raving about AMD for some time now.

BRK.B It has been lagging the market and peers. (if there are not many that are actually in my opinion, peers). I put a buy in at 180 then sell at 199 when it gets back to it. Hard to keep a good stock down! Maybe there will be an over correction today or the coming weeks. The next couple months are usually trying trading times for investors, in my experience. I read one time it has to do with mutual funds selling profits in Sep-Oct. this locks in profits for the year somehow. They can then print their brochures claiming gains per a certain date. Aug-Sep and Oct. are usually weird months in buying stocks. Most of my misses on trades happen in these months. Superstitious? Maybe.

I own BRK.B and just a few days ago it had a really big bump (For berkshire) because Warren said he was buying back a larger percentage of shares.

I normally put a set amount in an S&P 500 index every month, in Feb and March I bumped it up a decent amount. Looking like a good move.
