Reading the complaint about a 1900-1945 class in the "Profs who suck" thread, so I picked today to map that course out.
Guy was upset that WWI only got one lecture and thinks the course is supposed to focus on the 2 World Wars.

Course description doesn't say that. My version gave the Great War 2 days with a lot of different things in there and the 2nd one a couple weeks, but not in a battle-by-battle sort of thing. That's what military history courses are for, or courses focuses solely on the war(s).

And that's one more in the bank now.

Why oh why didn't we tell her to have DH create an account so that he could post here when it happened?!?!?

I'm on pins and needles here, man.:oops:

I can just hear her now, can’t push, must post on CF!

That would be the considerate thing to do for us.

BTW, I forgot that I may have had a sign yesterday that she calved. I was driving to the farm and came over this hill (blacktop road) and standing sideways covering my whole lane was a holstein/jersey mix cow. Slammed on the brakes and we just kinda looked at each other. I honked my horn and it just looked at me. I slowly started to go into the other lane and drive around it and it turned around and went back into the ditch. I felt the cow was trying to communicate with me. Probably trying to tell me that CG calved.

Well you’re the problem then. CG sent you a clear sign and look how long it took you to post!

I'll just change the subject while @cowgirl836 just selfishly does her own thing.

After the good interview yesterday, they told me that the next commo would be e-mail, and that's cool. Supposed to hear by tonight, which I would assume is the next couple hours at the latest.

3 different variations of the "you have a PhD so you don't want to stay" question came up. I'm pretty sure that hearing nothing so far is about what I'm actually going to here. Good enough. It's not like I don't know that's an issue to them.

Made good use of yet another day to prep, find another really good job for the 2019 list, and redeem some more time.

Hey guys, been a very long, hard couple of days. Things started well and for reasons not entirely known, stopped just before i could have delivered and went sideways. Baby is healthy and safe. I am also ok and pain is finally managed today. I heard "I've never had this happen before" way too many times the last 36 hours, mostly in regards to failed pain relief. And as it turned out, the pain i was having was far more than normal contractions so it was a bucket of suck. Anyway, i am doing better this afternoon now and hopefully will get some sleep tonight. Maybe we'll call family today.....we honestly just havent wanted to deal with them yet. Yesterday was just really hard physically and emotionally. Baby is a bull calf for those curious and adorable in my biased opinion. Dh is a wonderful partner and dad. Which is good as I'm mostly useless, ha.

I'm so happy for you! (Yet sad it was such a difficult procedure for you! I hope you feel better soon!!!) You are a rock star.

And the quote above. Atta girl, you updated us before you called your family! ;)
