Not going to catch up on the weekend stuff. @cowgirl836 if you have had the baby congrats! If not...keep eating your grass and your time will come.

Our friends had their babies delivered via C-Section Friday evening. 2lbs 3 oz each. Both are breathing on their own and doing pretty good considering the circumstances.

Went up to Dubuque to see the North American Trainer Association (NATA) practice for their stuff at Oshkosh. The Dubuque EAA chapter has constructed a shelter with picnic tables and overlooking the airport. They also have a speaker hooked up to a scanner playing the radio traffic that also broadcasts it on an FM station so you can stay in your car if you want. It was awesome and I am going to suggest we do at least something similar here in CR.

What was it?

Guy goes all in and I clearly have 20+ times his stack. I ask "how much" and before the dealer can even begin counting I say "Doesn't matter, I call anyway". I had pocket Aces but any number of heaters would've worked.

Apparently that's like a **** you to someone in the UK because you obviously don't have to think about it with AA and having way more chips but that's just part of the passive aggressive sarcasm in an American poker room.

There was a couple little nuances like that throughout the game so I just stopped doing **** like that lol

This seems douchey in every culture. I've played a lot of poker, and wouldn't do this.

Oh yea it's douchey. That's half the point of it. I thought I had a raport with the guy and when I apologized he just laughed but the rest of the table was not happy. Oh well

Have you ever played out at Meskwaki? That happens all the time there. Happened at the Aria in Vegas.

I play mostly at Riverside, meskawki is twice as far for me.

If you are bored and want to know what is making me depressed this week check out these cameras. A cool one will be the One Week Wonder cameras as they will be building an RV-12 this week with the plan to have it finished by Sunday at noon.

Wow, looking at the warbird cam. Damn, enough Texans to form a squadron or two.

I HAVE to go to this sometime. Is the area they are parked aways restricted or open for spectators at times?

Only time it is restricted is during prep and debrief for the air show. There is a great warbird tram tour that takes you through everything and gives some history on each model.

MrsWx has informed me that there is absolutely no way we are missing it next year so if you want a tour guide it sounds like we will be there.

Another job interview this morning, just something to tide us over.
Went well. Interviewer will discuss with the next manager and see where things go.

Good interview, but the PhD questions that I know are a stumbling block came up more than once. My guess is that the hiring manager will see that and go "WTF, why would we hire that guy when we know he's leaving?"

Put the other factory job on hold. The "Fight Club" questions just struck me as too foreshadowy, and I think I can do better than just the first thing that's throwing bodies into a place.

This new ad is weird.
University of Southern Maine looking for a lecturer that also works with high schools/dual credit scenarios.
Interesting little job, but their schedule of courses shows that everything has someone assigned. Then the practical aspects that it is really, really late to be starting a job search and Portland, ME is really, really expensive.

This is one that I kind of want to see a workable way for, because that area is good for me, but it looks really, really odd and really too late.
I also assume that they have someone in mind that's already nearby, but that's just a guess with no evidence to it.

Could potentially be AP or dual enrollment online?

Probably.
It mentions preference for folks with online teaching experience.

Really, the draw is being 2 hours from Boston. That makes summer research a lot easier.
From my first searches, and that's just assuming that indeed.com is accurate at all about lecturer pay there, about 60% or more of the pay is gone through taxes and housing. Place is expensive.

Get home and kids left tv on. I clean up a little, grab something to drink, but the conversations on tv make me go wth is this about. Turns out there is a TV show about online dating and these people who go to different countries and marry these women. Basically a mail order bride type stuff. First man is a complete nerd and this woman is smoking hot, missed most of the second, but the third is the same.

Third guy now announces this woman is Muslim and he is devout Christian. This doesn't sound like it has a high probability of success.

Forgot to mention the first guy only speaks English and the woman speaks Portuguese. They can't even understand each other. Like train wrecks in slow motion.

Median household income coming in right around 300K...

Is that the 90 day fiance one? I was flipping through the channel guide one day and they were doing a follow up on one of the first seasons. It already seemed like a train wreck, how much worse would a follow up be?
