Pretty nice evening for outdoor concert listened to 2 blues acts in CL, then went over to MC to listen to a husband and wife Irish music act. Overall a pretty entertaining evening.
I think Tech is Homecoming, could be a fun weekend if you were able to get here Friday night for the pep rally and stuff.
These days we only make about one game a season when we can mooch tickets from my dad. Last year was the Iowa game which was perfect weather. Don’t know our fall softball schedule yet.

DH used the opportunity of switching stuff to new number to set up autopay on stuff I've been trying to get him to do for a while. Figured remembering to pay the phone bill each month will be low on the priority list here shortly.

Nah. The OshKosh fly-in PRE-fly-in. We're meeting our youngest son there, then heading out to Ohio from there.
Just pulled a "weed" from my hostas and it came up with a walnut attached. So, not a weed. Trying to transplant it into a pot along with some baby oak trees. Maybe in a couple of years I'll have little tree seedlings for your woods project.

Turned in more books and my study room key today.
Turns out I have 12 books outstanding, and ones I used a lot
Library staff worked through the shelves to see if they were there but unscanned. No luck.
I looked, too. I saw a bunch of books I turned in last time, all in the correct locations. I was hoping for a mistake.
So I have 12 books floating around somewhere. Where I went to seminary, they would hold up the degree for that. Glad that ISU doesn't play that game.

It was pretty good, considering it’s Mason City sushi! Make sure they tell the waiter that the dude in the pineapple shirt with the 14 year old girl recommended them!

So Ottumwa beat SEP 1-0 in the regional semis at SEP. Solo HR by the first baseman with 2 outs in the top of the 5th, and they managed to hang on. Now they get to play at Indianola on Tuesday. Much tougher match up.
In class 4A, Fairfield was at #6 Osky. Fairfield was down 4-1 with 2 outs in the 7th, but they managed to score 5 runs, and Osky couldn't recover. Fairfield wins 6-4 to go their regional final. Fairfield was at state last year, but they were really down this year.

Following Sara V sports update with another. Corner Monitering went well. Pro1,2,3 mens really roll along. 2 broke from the pack early and were up by 20+seconds. about half way thru the race, one more broke from the pack to join them and that group continued to lead by 15-20 seconds the rest of the way. So in reality you had 2 separate races going on the gap was big enough they added another motorcycle to lead the pack. The local kid came in 12th to in his 1st yr at this level nice finish by him.
Ladies race was much closer with a nice tight race except for the 2 who got dropped and we substantially behind.
Overall it was a lot of fun only 1 crash and he got up and continued.

When I was about to graduate, ISU did the same thing to me. But this book had only one copy. I was 95% sure I had turned it in and they were asking some obscene amount (IMO) for the book cost. I went to the library for the maybe 6th time my whole college career. The book was right there and I took a librarian over and was like "wtf?" It's here.. Then they dropped it thank God
