You can't keep the water from coming in, you can get the water out via a shop vac or other pump.

Well I don't have any kind of other pump, so I'm boned if mine quits, lol. Its kept up like a champ though so far.

Knock on wood, Ames is okay thus far it seems. Probably have got about 2 inches.
