I don't think that WDM has gotten has gotten as much as northern polk county, but its way,way too much.

Once the emergency passes tonight, the river levels are going to be trouble.

Our basement is dry so far but drainage system is running full bore. Have the shop vac on stand by incase I have to help it out.

Have some water entering the side of the garage(detached). Nothing I can do until tomorrow and the rain stops.

What do you do though if your sump pump goes out? How to you prevent the water from coming in?

You can't keep the water from coming in, you can get the water out via a shop vac or other pump.
