This one is really nice, potentially.
Part of the UNC system, but at a small school where I could get hired, potentially.
They'll get stuff tomorrow. Hopefully they'll call.
Dressing up is a lost art. This irritates me - guys who wear a blue tie, but have a purple or some other color kerchief in their pocket. Just looks like no attention to detail, threw the first thing in they could find.

So I went in for a 3-month check on my blood sugar, and it turns out my A1C is down to 6.2! (From a high of 8.8 in March)

Me and a buddy choked down a six pack of that. The only thing worse than the taste was the smell. Had to plug our noses to drink it.
Okay - I hate you all. I'm going to have to read that damned thread now. I'm already about 200 pages behind in two different threads in the cave (MAGA and Russian Interference) and have only made it as far as the 18 June entry of 100 Things on WRNL. Bah!!!

Oh yea, the original flight to DC ticket is framed on my desk to remind me that it very well could've been my last.
Funny story about flying back though...
On the way back from DC I found out that airlines are willing to sell their oxygen from the overhead bin area. My doctor in DC literally prescribed a first class ticket (for the legroom) and the oxygen. I was wheelchaired up to the gate and was the first to get on so they could setup the oxygen stuff. While I was waiting though, this one woman in line for first class said something like "I hate when people fake it so they can get on first" to her husband. Definitely loud enough for me to hear and was obviously just being a vile person.
When she got on and saw that I was hooked up to the oxygen and connected to the plane, she turned white as a ghost. She unfortunately was a couple rows from me but man do I wish she had the seat next to me. Serves her right though
