Random Thoughts XII - This Thread Delivers

Today's round of job searches reveals several jobs that basically just want someone to teach survey courses in American and World history.
If they said Western Civ, I'm ready to roll. The other, not so much.

Just to be sure, I'm reading a bunch of syllabi for survey courses in World history. This has been a great way to see again how much I don't know, but not a great way to land a job.

The group I know is from Gilbert Lutheran. Sounds like they had bus troubles maybe, but made it.

You just have to be a week ahead of your class.

In the U.S Survey (the one up through 1877, anyway), I omit Delaware and Maryland when we talk about settling the colonies and let the textbook do it.

Can I do that with Asia and Africa? Maybe.

@Rabbuk: That's a good point with stuff I know. This would be a huge load of stuff to cram now.

Goodness, we haven't dealt with the issues of sending me to teach Canadian or Mexican history.

Is little Erik/Revkah whose name escapes me close to Kindergarten age, or am I totally off base with that.
