So since we haven't had rum Brooklyn for several months, and she probably won't be making an appearance in the near future, what is wine-drunk Boxster's alter ego?

Garage sale went fairly well. Still a lot of stuff but at least we are just shy of $300 richer!

Good day at the farm yesterday. LittleWx is a big fan (like pretty much any boy) with the farm.

Between a teething baby and LittleWx getting woken up by the storm at 4AM I am dragging already. Last night I found some Scott's grass seed patch repair stuff I had in the garage and since I knew it was going to rain I was all "yeah I should put this down now." Not long after I put it down I knew I should have waited and just watered it in myself but too late now. We got 2" of rain overnight and when I checked on the spots this morning there was no sign of any grass seed. Good job WxMan.

Just makes me wish I wouldn't have put it down at all more! In all honesty between the kids and dog it will be a miracle to get this yard looking good anyway.

Ok I need help with my foot. When I bend forward and my foot is flat, I get a sharp pain on the inside of my foot above the heel

I know it’s not an STD, HIV or menapause (the usual things suggested here).

Any help with what this is? And yes, I am now lifting my heel or foot off the ground when I have to pick up something so that is covered.

My youngest daughter's science class is collecting 2 liter bottles for a project. She's bringing three in this morning. It is not a coincidence that we had both sides of our family visiting this weekend and these bottles were used mostly as mixers.

So this conversation took place at the church before my son's confirmation as my mom walked into the church and saw my son with a group of his friends (we'll call him Johnny and my daughter Sue).

Grandma: Johnny, you look very handsome today.
Johnny's face and ears got kind of red.
Sue: Grandma, I think you embarrassed him.
Grandma: OK... Johnny, you look ugly today.

We were at the wife’s nieces graduation several years ago. Wife and I were inside cleaning up, classmates started showing up, next thing you know wife’s SIL starts mixing drinks and loudly talking how these HSers need someone who knows how to mix these drinks make them. I looked at the wife and said, good time to retreat back to our hotel.

She loves attention and doesn’t think about down the road. I don’t want people buying for my kids so I feel it’s best not to be doing that for others. Her oldest has his graduation reception Sunday, so I’m sure I will be telling the wife it’s time to get the heck out of there at some time.
