Our bank transistioned to an entirely new system of I think pretty much everything this past weekend and it went live this morning at 8. I was able to log into our bank account but MrsWx is unable to get into her business account and the phone line has been busy all day. Needless to say I think this roll out went swimmingly.

Things I learned today. 21/2" burr that's stuck, 1 2.5' pipe wrench, cutting torch for heat, and a 4.5 ft pipe to put over said pipe wrench you can get that burr to come loose.

Well quick bowl of ice cream and back to the grind for a while.

About ten years ago there was a project management email that got wide national distribution at work. Just more of a report/newsletter/update thingie but generated a ton of reply-alls "Why am I on this list?", "Take me off this list!" and "I don't want to be on his list". Came to an abrupt end when some colonel in the Pentagon got so pissed off at these jack-asses that he did a reply-all threatening a personnel action against the next person that did "reply all". God, I wish I had saved that, it was awesome.

Like a nut. Bolts and burrs/nuts.

You should probably enter this in the farmer sayings thread. Never heard this before.

Although pipe wrenches and big ole cheater pipes I get. Saved one of my dad's old pipe wrenches for some reason. Like I'll ever need a pipe wrench that big.

Visited the no more troll thread, seems to be plenty of trolling going on. I admire Twins on being able to grind it out every day, that wouldn't be for me.

Arts and Academics Expo at the middle school last night. Here is the best highlight. We learned that one of my daughter's best friends tries to scare my daughter most every day before class and it hasn't worked yet this year (the friend is, how shall we say it, a bit unaware of her surroundings at times). One day, she decided to hide in the cabinet where the paint shirts are kept with the plan of jumping out and scaring my daughter. When she did this, a third friend put a pencil through the latch so she couldn't get out. After a bit, there was a knocking coming from the inside of the cabinet. Luckily, this art teacher has a great sense of humor.
